Heather Locklear portrait practice

There comes a point in the lives of most artists when they want to see if they have what it takes to do a portrait. He’s my first airbrush attempt. I chose this image because it would pose the challenge of youthful female skin: subtle changes in tone and hue.

Close inspection of the eyes shows how I would use one eye to make my errors on, and the other to hit my mark. It was good practice.
